After my lovely book launch last year for Forgotten Women of the Wars of the Roses held at Creativ.Spaces in Caversham, I'm excited to share that I've planned another one for my latest book, Power Couples of the Tudor Era!

I'll be there to chat and sign books in the beautiful and opulent surroundings of The Angel Bar on Prospect Street, Caversham. Take in the quirky decor and the golden cherubs, and have your photo taken against their iconic angel wing mural, created by Two Lost Birds' Amy Smith.

The Angel Bar are also adding their own special twist on the event with two Tudor-themed drinks which will be available, a cocktail and an alcohol-free mocktail both using ingredients that evoke the flavours and scents of the sixteenth century. There will also be a platter of Tudor-inspired nibbles, so you can try some Tudor-themed treats too.

I'm super excited to add that there will also be two Tudor gown reconstructions, modelled by Amy and Lisa Armstrong. Lisa is an amazing historical dressmaker, and has worked with TV and film-makers on various projects as well as at Hampton Court Palace, where she dressed their re-enactors. Book sales for the day will be handled by Alex at FourBears Books in Caversham, who are taking preorders of books, so you can order here and collect your book, signed by me, at the event. There will also be some copies to buy on the day, but if you'd like to guarantee your signed book please order in advance to be safe. There will also be limited numbers of goody bags available with the sale or collection of a copy of Power Couples of the Tudor Era. Please note though that these are limited and provided on a first-come-first-serve basis, and are not guaranteed.
